Sheepskin Seat Covers

Does your bottom ache after riding an hour or two? A genuine Australian sheepskin on your bike seat will make that long ride way more pleasant. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer, allowing your skin to breathe and not become all sticky and uncomfortable.
Colour: black
Size:
Length: 320mm
Width:  280mm at its widest
Strap length: 1 metre total + width of Seat Pad
Straps are elastic and adjustable to suit width of seat.

Yamaha SR500 with Porsche Cylinder

Kingston Customs took a humble 1978 Yamaha SR500 and fitted it with the head of a Porsche!

Have a look at the result.

Result: 2 thumbs up from Omega!

Desmoscrambler 2013/14

I'm so excited.
I just read on Cycle World (link) the news that Ducati is to introduce a new model: a 696 air-cooled 90degree V twin in a Scrambler set up.
It's supposed to be a reasonably priced bike, with many parts made in Thailand and assembled in Thailand.

I always wanted to own a Ducati after riding my brother's 900SS and 750SS and Scrambler, but I never really fell in love with the Monster and I'm not into extreme sport bikes, even if I could afford them. So this news makes me very happy. Can't wait to see the first pictures!

Now the only thing is to start sweet talking the wife and making her understand that getting another bike is absolutely necessary for my well being. tongue.png

Here are some design proposals by Oberdan Bezzi...

Ducati 900SS - Tamiya 1/12th model

Just got a new model: a Ducati 900SS in 1/12th scale. As soon as I have some spare time I will start working on it.
It will be a nice addition to my (still) small collection.

REJOICE - Santa has come early this year...

This is a day for a double celebration.

First off, the news broke during the weekend that Yamaha is planning on introducing the Yamaha SR400 to the European market in 2014. Yamaha celebrates 35 years of glorious SR production by collaborating with the Danish custom shop Wrenchmonkees and the German Kedo to build a one-off SR400 custom, that will be shown at the EICMA in Milan in November this year.
Fantastic news!

On a smaller scale, but for me not less important, is the fact that the Omega Racer Blog reached a staggering
pageviews

since its start in 2011. It's been quite a journey and it all started out when I bought my SR in February 2011. Who could have known that 2 and a half years later there would even be an Omega Racer shop?

Anyway, I'm off to find a glass of Champagne and ponder just at how good life is. :-)
